3.3.2. Stakeholder Groups Fort Worth communities are comprised of many voices, from residents to elected officials, businesses, community advocates, and service agencies. Two advisory committees representing community advocates and agency representatives were formed to guide the planning process to support a strategic action plan customized for Fort Worth’s varied contexts. They were tasked with: ■ Developing the plan’s vision and purpose ■ Reviewing initial findings and analysis ■ Shaping engagement messaging ■ Guiding the development of action strategies ■ Reviewing ongoing Plan development
Shaping the Draft Vision and Goals The draft Plan Goals and Vision were shaped through extensive input from both the TAC and the CAC. These committees provided critical feedback to help the Plan to reflect technical best practices and community priorities. Following this collaborative process, the Goals and Vision were presented to the public during district open houses for review and comment, allowing residents to confirm and refine the direction of the Plan before final adoption. Figure 3.4 illustrates the feedback captured across stakeholder groups, which emphasized the following:
