Issue #3: City & Regional Travel Patterns As illustrated in Figure 6.7 , almost twice as many people commute into - or out of - Fort Worth each day than those who live and work in Fort Worth. Many commuters from East Fort Worth travel to Dallas and Tarrant Counties, creating non-local traffic across the City. This tells us where people need to go and where gaps in the network or future capacity may be needed to accommodate growth. Key Outcomes Included: ■ ~312K daily commuters travel into Fort Worth. ■ ~268K residents travel outside of Fort Worth daily. ■ ~155K residents travel within the City daily.
