Issue #2: First/Last Mile Accessibility 6.77% of Fort Worth’s population experience poor first-last mile infrastructure. Poor transit access to key destinations or first/last mile connections to transit can limit quality of life and economic opportunity. Issue #3: Service Schedule Gaps 14.11% of the total population are impacted by lack of service (or frequency). This often impacts individuals who are transit-dependent and limited to off-peak service. These gaps affect riders who rely on transit most and those without flexible schedules. Areas with significant residential development are within reach of existing service corridors but lack sufficient frequency to attract sufficient transit riders. Issue #4: Inconsistent On-Time Performance Schedule reliability impacts how people trust expected travel and wait times. Trinity Metro performs well in maintaining schedule reliability particularly in its rail and on-demand services, with some pockets of lower performance in the southern and far western parts of the system. 24.13% of daily riders are affected by below average performance - or on-time performance below 85% of fixed-route trips.
