ANZ Seeds of Renewal The ANZ Seeds of Renewal program focuses on helping to build vibrant and sustainable rural communities and ensure the ongoing prosperity of regional Australia. Key focus areas are environmental sustainability, access to housing and improved financial wellbeing. Dates for this program are yet to be set. Please check again soon, and keep an eye on our socials for any updates. https://frrr.org.au/funding/place/anz- seeds-of-renewal/ Grants for landholders in the Limestone Coast The Limestone Coast Landscape Board is providing up to $100,000 in funding to local landholders for the 2024–25 grant round. The funding will support projects on properties that deliver biodiversity outcomes and primary production co- benefits. Landholders are able to apply for grants up to $10,000 to undertake on-ground works. Join the Conservation Grant community and stay informed of the next rounds, project updates and other opportunities to be involved. Since 2021–22 Conservation Grants have provided $170,000 to support Limestone Coast landholders deliver activities such as planting shelterbelts, fencing off vegetation and protecting wetlands. https://engage.lclandscapesa.com.au/co nservation-grants Organisations nominated by their MP will be invited by the department to fill out an application form in February 2025. Support Packages for Drought Effected Farmers The State Government is investing $18 million to assist farming communities affected by drought across South Australia, as many primary producers experience their driest season on record. The new support package includes a range of measures including: $5 million for on-farm drought infrastructure grants, $2 million to assist charities in transporting donated fodder $1 million for additional health and wellbeing support through the Rural Financial Counselling Service and Family and Business Support Program. An additional $100,000 for grants of up
to $5,000 for the ‘Connecting Communities Events Program.
