A Christmas message from our CEO

With 2025 almost upon us, it is time to reflect on the year that was and gear up for the new year ahead. If 2022 was all about big things – events, infrastructure, elections, and 2023 was all about economic development, 2024 was about openings: Celebrating the successful completion of some long running projects, like the newly developed Hawke House Bed & Breakfast, or our workers accommodation at the Bordertown Caravan Park, and opening fantastic events like our Intergenerational Arts Trail. It was a busy year in which we completed a tremendous amount of work, from infrastructure like the seal widening on Siding and Don Hunt Roads to the designs for our industrial and residential estates and everything in between. We also undertook a lot of strategic planning for the years ahead, from preparing our own Strategic Plan 2024 – 2034 to working with our regional partners to develop a Regional Growth Strategy for the Limestone Coast. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of you, whether you’ve contributed to community projects, volunteered, provided feedback or used our services and facilities. Have a very Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year. See you in 2025!
