R euben A. Shelton III, Esq., was elected as Kappa Alpha Psi’s 34 th Grand Polemarch during the 84 th Grand Chapter Meet- ing in Philadelphia, PA, and hit the ground running. Sixty days into his term and he’s already held a leadership retreat, sponsored informative sessions during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference weekend and participated in several meetings with the Council of Presidents of the National Pan- Hellenic Council. “I’m feeling great,” said Grand Polemarch Shelton. His platform is “Brother to Brother, Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges.” It is a theme that he’s used throughout his leadership career including as President of The Missouri Bar. At the time he said, “We want to make sure that every member under- stands the organization belongs to them by highlighting how, within our vast array of programs, services and benefits, there something that ap- peals to and can aid every member.”
