L eadership is having a the ability to pull talented people together to achieve your goals. Conversely, achievement is the act of something, especially by means of skill or perseverance, while overcoming some form of adversity. Our next recipient is gifted in this regard. Richard Lee Snow is a 1977 initiate of the Pennsylvania State Univer- sity Chapter, the Delta Theta of Kappa Alpha Psi. He chaired several province and national committees before being hired as the fraternity's 8 th Executive Director in 1998. In 2003, at the 76 th Grand Chapter Meeting in Charlotte, he was given the additional title of Chief Oper- ating Officer, the only Executive Director to have that distinction. For his service to the Northeastern Province, he was honored with the James M. Kidd Award, its highest recognition in 2006. for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He has served on numer- ous boards, past and present, and is a very active community volunteer in his hometown of Philadelphia, PA with a particular passion for sup- porting children-based organizations focusing on arts and education. He is also the current Board Chairman for PHLDiversity, a division of The Philadelphia Convention and Visi- tors Bureau. He is a member of Canaan Baptist Church of Germantown and has been married to the love of his life Judith Lynn for 36 years. He has two adult sons: Richard, Jr. and Joseph. compelling vision, a com- prehensive plan, relent- less implementation, and He is the current Senior Advisor for Multicultural/Field Development
