On Thursday, 1 August 1900 hours, the United States Marine Corps hosted the 2019 Military and Vet- erans Reception and Awards Banquet. The day began with a presentation of a $98,000 scholarship to Cadet Jeremiah Pasley by The Honorable Ryan D. McCarthy, Acting Secretary of the United States Army and the 66 th Inspector General of the U.S. Army LTG Leslie G. Smith during the Second Business Ses- sion of the 84 th Grand Chapter Meeting.
