Brother Gardner E. Story was preced- ed in death by his parents, siblings Mary Story, John D. Story, and Otis Story. He is survived by his wife J. Cherise Story, and daughter Kristyn Elise Story. He is also survived by mother-in-love Gladys E. Cade, siblings Verna McFarland, Maggie Morrow, Barbara (Tony) McK- night, Sherrye Smith, Yolanda Scurlock, Elliott (Sequcia) Story, Audree Williams, Arlene (Robert) Sanders, Barron (Ada) Story, LaShonda (Terad) Phillips, Tamara Whittington, Marion Story, Rita (Patrick) Harrell, Fred (Amelia) Ford, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Frederick Senior entered Chapter Invisible on June 2, 2020. He was born in Greenwood, South Carolina and was raised in Washington,

DC. He graduated from Cardoza High School and attended Howard University and George Washington University. He pledged through Howard University’s Xi Chapter in 1956, was a life member and the twenty-sixth Polemarch of the Wash- ington (DC) Alumni Chapter from 1978 to 1980. In 1983 the chapter presented him with the Lamont H. Lawson Award for sustained outstanding service to the fraternity. A true public servant, he spent forty- three years working for the Federal and District of Columbia Government. He began his career in 1949 as a Tabulat- ing machine Operator for the Veterans Administration. Other positions held with the Federal Government include the following: digital computer operator within the U.S. Army Engineers Research and Development Laboratory, chief of the Computer Operations Branch within the Department of Commerce, and computer systems analyst within the Agency for International Development at the Depart- ment of State. One of his most noted positions within the DC Government was as the Chief of the Office of Information Systems from 1983 until his retirement in 1991. Brother Senior’s service to the public went far beyond his tenure as a govern- ment employee. He was a member of the Fort Stevens Lions Club, Big Brothers of America, the American Association of Public Welfare Information Management, Century Limited and a lifetime mem- ber of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. He also served on the board of the Fort Lincoln Condominium One Association. Brother Senior is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jewel W. Senior, his
Gardner E. Story (Del- ta 1975), a Life Member of the Fra- ternity and a member of the Houston
(TX) Alumni Chapter, entered the Chapter Invisible on August 14, 2021. Gardner Earl Story was born on March 3, 1955, to the late Reverend Joe D. Story and Lillian Pearl Kent Story in Mound Bayou, MS. He spent his formative years in Cleveland, MS. He attended Eastside High School where he played baseball and football. Story is a member of the Eastside High School Football Hall of Fame. After graduating high school in 1973, Story attended historic Wil- berforce University in Wilberforce, OH, earning a bachelor's degree in business administration. After col- lege, Story entered the banking and finance industry working initially for First Bank Grand in St. Paul, MN. He subsequently worked as a Loan Officer with Benjamin Franklin Savings & Loan Asso- ciation to Vice-President-Branch Manager at Bank One, Asset and Broker Relationship Manager with Best Assets, and as President of BA Urban Solutions. He also spent his last working years as an auditor with Comerica Bank. Story held church member- ship at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as chair- man of the Deacon Board and at.
Longtime Mont- gomery, AL-based physician Jeffer- son Underwood (Beta Zeta 1975) entered the Chapter Invisible on September 6, 2021, after a
six-year battle with ALS. He was born May 15, 1955, in Montgomery, AL, to Dr. Jefferson and Mrs. Olean Under- wood. He attended elementary school at the Alabama State Laboratory School and Bellingrath Junior High School and graduated in 1973 with honors from the St. Jude Educational Institute. He earned a B.S. degree in biology from Alabama State University, graduating summa cum laude. He then earned an M.D. degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, in 1981. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Georgetown University Program at D.C. General Hospital. Underwood returned to his native Montgomery and joined his father
