N ew J ersey Celebrating 1st warehouse in Legacy Commerce Center Duke Realty and CBRE Group host ribbon-cutting
INDEN, NJ — Duke Realty Corporation and CBRE Group, Inc. hosted a ribbon-cutting event on October 23 to celebrate the completion of 801 W. Linden Ave. in Linden. The opening of the industrial facility marks the first of three warehouse properties planned in Legacy Commerce Center, a 60-acre, class A industrial and retail development. attended the event to celebrate with members of the New Jersey industrial brokerage community. “This event gave us the op-
portunity to show the commu- nity the outstanding facility we’ve delivered. Our new build- ing offers premier warehouse space plus is located in an unparalleled logistics location,” said Jeff Palmquist , senior vice president of Duke Realty’s Northeast region. “Companies that locate here will enjoy a modern, state-of-the-art facil- ity with immediate access to highways and the ports.” A 495,000 s/f building located in Legacy Commerce Center, 801 W. Linden Ave. features key amenities such as 50-by- 50-foot column spacing; a 36- foot ceiling; ESFR sprinklers, and parking that can accommo- date 300 vehicles. The property is one of the few new logistics facilities in the region. “The unveiling of 801 W. Lin- den Avenue marks an incred- ible opportunity for industry growth and job creation in the city of Linden,” said Mindy Lissner , executive vice presi- dent, CBRE. “Duke Realty has worked diligently to transform the former General Motors site in Linden into a first-class development and is leading the market in construction of class A facilities throughout New Jersey.” The CBRE team of Lissner, with William Waxman , ex- ecutive vice president; Steven Beyda , senior vice president; Susan Strauss-Rickwalder , client services specialist, and Jamie Dennison , client ser- vices specialist, oversees leas- ing and marketing for Legacy Commerce Center on behalf of Duke Realty.
