in Jersey City’s Powerhouse Arts District. “Leasing more than 80% of the residences in such a short amount of time reflects the unique appeal of The Art House,” said Leah (Pninit) Almog Arazi , director of marketing for Shuster De- velopment . “We’re operat- ing in a crowded field as Jersey City has emerged as a true destination for sophis- ticated and dynamic urban living, and we’ve stood out in that landscape.” The appeal of The Art House is clear: modern resi- dences with upscale finishes and appointments, an excit- ing suite of amenities and services and a location just steps from neighborhood cultural and nightlife attrac- tions and convenient public transportation to Manhat- tan. Located at 148 First St., The Art House was designed by Fogarty Finger Archi- tects and LWDMR & As- sociates to integrate modern design into the historic and arts-inspired fabric of the building’s Powerhouse Arts District location. The build- ing’s welcoming entrance leads to a contemporary, in- timate lobby with a doorman to greet residents and guests. Hotel-like amenities include a rooftop pool and sundeck offering dramatic views of the Manhattan skyline, a lounge, state-of-the-art fit- ness center, yoga room, kids’ room, party room and a bike storage room. The Art House is 10 min- utes from downtown Man- hattan via PATH trains and ferry. The Hudson Bergen Light Rail system offers rail service up and down the wa- terfront and into bordering neighborhoods. n
