Day 1: UK - Catania Today you’ll fly to Catania and on arrival, transfer to your hotel. This evening meet your fellow travellers for a welcome drink and enjoy dinner together. Day 2: Taormina This morning, enjoy a truly memorable experience as you journey up Mount Etna in a cable car, Europe’s tallest active volcano and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, venture to Taormina, perched on a cliff top overlooking two beautiful sweeping bays. Day 3: Letojanni Spend today in Letojanni as you please, perhaps take a walk to the nearby beach or have a look around the area’s sun-filled piazzas and streets lined with quaint shops, cafés, and churches. Optional excursion to Syracuse Day 4: Piazza Armerina Located just outside Piazza Armerina, visit the fascinating Villa del Casale, a Roman villa built in the 4th Century and one of the island’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This structure boasts the richest and most complex collection of Roman mosaics in the world.
