Day 4: Harris & Lewis Head to Harris and marvel at towering mountains and rocky coastline and miles of unspoilt beaches washed by Atlantic waves. Discover the history of these lands with visits to olden Standing Stones of Calanais, Carloway Broch and perhaps the grandest medieval building in the Western Isles, Rodel Church. Continue to the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village and gain a fascinating insight into the lives and resourcefulness of the islands’ inhabitants. Day 5: Butt of Lewis & Ullapool Journey to the northern tip of Lewis, for the final highlight of your tour in the Hebrides. From the Butt of Lewis, set sail towards Ullapool then follow a wonderfully scenic route through Wester Ross to Newtonmore or Carrbridge. Day 6: Fly Home Time to say goodbye to your tour group and the mystic Scottish islands as you catch your flight back home.

Said to be the oldest continuously occupied ‘family home’ in Scotland, uncover the history of this ancient stronghold. Spend the afternoon browsing the quaint harbour of Portree and taking in the dramatic scenery that encases the island’s main town.
