Expo 2030 anticipates at least 42 million visits during the six-month-long event
A capital built to convene Riyadh is rapidly building the venues, connectivity and international profile
S audi Arabia’s MICE growth is concentrating most powerfully in Riyadh. The capital combines government, finance, corporate head- quarters and a fast-growing visitor economy, giving event organisers access to the people they want in the room and an increasingly broad range of ways to host them. The Central Region accounted for 42.12% of the national MICE market in 2025, reflecting Riyadh’s concentration of ministries, corporate decision-makers, venues and suppliers. That concentration is already visible in the calendar. A CITY BUILT FOR DELEGATES RFECC, Saudi Arabia’s largest convention venue, remains one of the capital’s principal large-format event spaces. Located close to King Khalid International Airport, it offers around 39,000sqm of exhibition space across four main halls, complemented by meeting rooms, VIP and support facilities. Its location alongside the ROSHN Front commercial district also gives delegates easy access to a wider mix of dining, retail and entertainment, strengthening its appeal for major international exhibitions, conferences and trade events.
