“It’s a small movie,” he continues.“It’s not going to change the world. I just hope that people come to watch it with an open mind, and if it changes a few people’s minds or attitudes, then that’s a start.
“I just hope that it starts a discussion among people who have just accepted this narrative of swarm, invasion, small boats, and they’ve forgotten that it’s about human beings, it’s about humanity.
“It’s a message of hope. It’s a message of humanity.That’s what I hope people take away from it.”
