WACOC Newsletter- Fall 2022

REMEMBERING OUR FRIENDS AND TRUSTEES DR. TOM COAD & DR. CYNTHIA COAD "Deciding what to write, so I may best share my gratitude and appreciation for two of the most generous people I had ever met, is not an easy task.

The Coad’s unconditional love for one another, devotion to their family and commitment to our council may best describe the lovely couple who left us this year.

The Coad’s financial support of the Academic World Quest and educational programs were instrumental in sustaining the youth programs during very challenging times. With the Coad’s timely support, we were able to provide travel expenses for the winning teams, fellowships, scholarships and salaries for the paid interns. Many of these students have now graduated and in pursue of their career paths. I can proudly say that they are better citizens of the world because of the experience and knowledge gained during their time with World Affairs Council. This indeed is the legacy of the Coads and their contribution to our world. Wishing the Coad's family love and treasured memories."
