MY SCORE (1–5)

I express my opinions and actively seek everyone’s input, remaining open to changing my mind I make timely decisions and allow others to decide within their area of responsibility I delegate visible, meaningful work and support different approaches The team feels informed and confident in my direction The team trusts my decisions and feels that I trust theirs Everyone feels empowered to make decisions within their domain

Tool 1: Self-Assessment for an Introduction to 7C Leadership What is this tool for? To reveal the gap between your leadership intentions and your actual impact on the team. How does it work? For each C, you assess six statements:

What I do (Behaviours)

CONFIDENCE Trusting your own judgement while building the confidence of others

What others experience (Outcomes)

3 focused on what you do (your behaviours)

I seek perspectives from a wide range of backgrounds before making decisions I create moments where quieter voices can be heard I consider the impact of decisions on all stakeholders

• 3 focused on what others experience (the perceived impact) Why is this important? You may believe you are doing the right things (high behaviour score) without the team actually experiencing the intended impact (low outcome score). This gap represents a blind spot to work on. Time required: Part 1 (15 min) | Optional Part 2 (30–60 min) | Part 3 (15 min)

What I do (Behaviours)
