Anthony Jimenez Internal growth is one of the few reasons why he is grateful to be a part of the Averitt team. He loves the Averitt culture, flexibility, and consistency schedule. During his 10 years as a mechanic associate, he started in the forklift shop and recently moved into a truck mechanic. He is married to Diana of 12 years and they have 5 children. Outside of work he enjoys family events, movies and reading comic books. His life goal is to get a ranch with his family to live off the land and be more self-sufficient.
Stanley Launza His leaders say that “He embodies Averitt culture, is always willing to help and is a true team player. He is an example of what we strive for every day.” He was hired as a CDL Qualified Dock and helps with Shuttle and Uline loads. Before Averitt he was an owner operator for 19 years, but he wanted a change for more personal time and less stress and it’s the best decision he ever made. Outside of work his hobbies include basketball and music. His goal with Averitt is to become a DED site Manager or Director.
Jose Guzman Always willing to lend a hand and being a team player is why his leaders chose him this month. A valued Outbound dock associate, he is a consistent and solid worker. He is married to his wife Saleen and they have 3 children, Isabella-8, Matthew-6 and Levi-1. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family at the park and going to movies. He also likes truck shows and going to Comi-Con. His goal is to remain open minded and grow with Averitt.

Roderic King Averitt is an organization where we encourage and promote the “family environment”. It is important that family comes first and that’s what is important to Mr. King. His family consists of his wife Latrivia, 3 sons, 3 daughters and 1 grandson. He’s been with Averitt on the dock for 4 years and appreciates that it affords him everything he needs outside of work. His goal is to be obedient and be able to take care of his mother. His leaders appreciate his positive attitude, and they can always count on him to get things done.
Jose Ramirez When our associates have dreams outside of Averitt, we are proud to support them and provide a flexible schedule. As a PT Dock associate, he is able to attend school at UTA for Accounting. His leaders appreciate his hard work and willingness to handle any task that is thrown his way. Outside of work his hobbies are soccer and going to the gun range. Once his schooling is finished, he is excited to work in the accounting field. Keep up the good work Jose!

BEYOND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY: CULTIVATING COMPASSION THROUGH CHARITY INITIATIVES
At Averitt, our commitment to community service is more than a corporate responsibility; it's a heartfelt mission that's grown deeply personal for each of us. As Thanksgiving approaches, we're reflecting on a year marked by remarkable generosity and impactful service, a journey made possible by the unwavering support of our customers and the selfless dedication of our associates. Since 1986, Averitt's journey of giving has been a story not just of financial contributions, but of time, effort, and genuine care. Through our Team Up Community Challenge , Averitt associates engage with local organizations and charities to support those in need. In 2023 alone, our associates contributed over 18,000 hours of community service . Hours served also result in a company funded matching contribution to Averitt Cares For Kids. From feeding the hungry to aiding storm-ravaged areas, our team's commitment extends beyond monetary support, encompassing a holistic approach to community service. Additionally, our partnership with Matthew 25 Ministries through our Uniform Recycling program is a testament to our environmental stewardship and global responsibility. By repurposing our uniforms, we contribute to worldwide humanitarian efforts, turning small gestures into global impacts. At the heart of our philanthropic initiatives is the trust and continued support of our customers. Through partnering with us, our shippers make it possible for us to make contributions like this every year. We believe in the "Power of One," where even modest contributions add up to significant change, and we appreciate all our customers for their collaboration with us. This partnership underscores the influence that collective efforts can have on the lives of others. As we reflect on the impact of this year's initiatives, our sincere appreciation goes to our shippers and our associates that have played a vital role in making a difference through Averitt Cares for Kids . Together, we've demonstrated that when businesses integrate social responsibility into their operations, they become powerful agents of positive change. Let's continue this journey together, leveraging our collective influence to create a brighter and more hopeful future for those in need.
