It is .characteristic of these castings to be subject to superficial surface - craze cracking. MT or PT indications of such craze cracking shall not be prejudicial when they do not exceed 5/16 inch in length. Indications beyond this length shall require removal . except that such indications may be approved subject to technical evaluation for acceptability dependent on intended application service conditions. 13.2.10 Records. Records of weld repairs shall be maintained and shall include the following (except as modified in sections 14. 15 and 16): A sketch showing the size (length. width. and depth) and location of all nominal and special repairs. Record of post weld heat treatment (when applicable). Record of weld repair inspection results. (a) (b) (c)
