Lot 11 – Herd bull prospect and one of the best combination Armstrong sons we have had in terms of blending elite numbers with right for the times look. This growthy, massive, deep flanked bull is chuck full of muscle. He scanned nearly a 17-inch ribeye, offers 127 $M, and 350 $C. He would be one to build a cowherd around. Lot 11-12 What a pair of Armstrong sons we find as Lots 11 and 12. ET full brothers from our cherished Elba 1004 donor, these fellas have done everything we’d hope for when this mating was decided. Elba is now deceased and the opportunities to tie into her genetics will become increasingly limited. An astounding donor female, she has worked with every single sire we’ve mated her to, always adding her kind attitude, extra depth and mass, and enhanced foot quality. Even at 14.5 years of age when she exited our herd her feet were still perfect. The impact of her daughters has and will continue to be felt in our herd for many more calf crops. When we decided to flush her to Armstrong it was a mating of maternal heavyweights. Hoping to compliment his muscle shape, length and performance with her mass and stoutness, the resulting bulls we are offering as Lots 11 and 12 are all we could have dreamed up. Great numbered individuals they cover the essentials of beef production and do it at a high level.
