Herd bull prospect and really good son of Rapport. This bull is a good looking, square hipped, wide pinned bull with extra frame and dimension. Excelling every time we measured him, he ratioed 104 at weaning, gained 4.03 lbs./day over winter and earned himself a 112 ratio at yearling time. Scanning well, he indexed 114 for marbling and measured a 15.4-inch ribeye to ratio 102. His dam is a really special female who is a front runner to enter our donor rotation. Great feet, long necked, expansive ribbed, she boasts about as impressive of a production record as any cow on the ranch. Earning progeny indexes of 4/110 WR, 4/109 YR, 4/126 IMF and 4/103 REA, she simply doesn’t miss. Calving early again this spring, she is a direct daughter of Vermilion Lass 0045 who served us so well in our donor pen, adding performance, mass and helping udder quality remain very high. Full brother in blood to Lot 15 offering nearly identical phenotype, performance and EPDs. This big middled, good-sized bull weaned off of his productive dam well and then went on to gain 3.94 lbs/day over winter to earn a 112 yearling ratio. He scanned with a 15.1-inch ribeye and recorded a 146 ratio for marbling. This high growth, strong carcass numbered bull’s dam is about as powerfully made as any female on the ranch. A strong producer she records a progeny record of 4/105 WR, 4/107 YR, 4/127 IMF, and 4/101 REA. She is a direct daughter of our udder improving, performance adding donor dam Vermilion Lass 0045.
