One of the heaviest weaning weights in this year’s calf crop in this Duke son. Coming off his productive young dam with a weaning weight of 841 to ratio 119, he grew well over winter and weighed in just short of 1400 at a year. A good sized, long bodied, attractive designed calf, he boasts strong growth EPDs and scanned with a 15.6 inch ribeye. His dam is a good sized female, stemming from our Queen Essa cow family. She traces to a direct daughter of the performance sire “VRD 7078” who then goes back to a Rainmaker 814Z female. This performance minded Duke son is genetically stacked with cattle that grow, perform and last.
