Already early last summer we had this Armstrong daughter pegged as someone that would be a real feature in our 2026 heifer offering. As we try to offer heifers that excel in a combination of areas, from EPDs to ratios to pedigree, she sorts herself to the top as one of the real leaders in all facets of production. A performance minded heifer, she has flat out excelled at every measure. Earning ratios of 121 at weaning and 118 for yearling, she scanned with a 118 ratio for marbling and with a large 13.6-inch ribeye to ratio 121. Numerically as strong as any female born on our ranch last year, she offers weaning and yearling EPDs in the top 1 %, and carcass EPDs near or over +1. Beyond all of her measured and genomic accolades, she is a pretty darn good heifer. Offering added frame and length, she is really deep bodied, stout boned, big hipped and powerful in her design. Her dam is a highly productive Tahoe female who traces back to our matriarch donor, Elba 1004. Off to a great productive life, Elba 110 boasts a progeny record of 3/113 WR, 3/109 YR, 3/114 IMF, and 3/110 for ribeye. A flush sister to Elba 110, records a progeny record of 3/110 WR and 3/107 YR, while the highly proven donor dam of both, Elba 1004 earned a progeny weaning ratio of 7/107. This good heifer is loaded up with genetics for performance, carcass and maternal production at an elite level. She is well on her way to finding herself into a donor pen.
