The first in a pair of Duke x Elba ¾ sisters and what a heifer we find as Lot 213. This long bodied, deep flanked female is thick down her top and expressively muscled. Earning weaning and yearling ratios of 108 and 104, she also scanned above average indexing 107 for marbling and 102 for ribeye. A growth minded female, she has an impressive EPD spread from a +.7 BW to a +90 WW to a +139 YW EPD. Her dam is an ET daughter of the heavily used Genex sire, Architect, who traces back to our elite producing donor Elba 1004. A time-tested and proven female, Elba maintained her excellent feet right up through 14.5 years of age when we finally had to let her go. A high production female, she compiled an impressive progeny record of 7/98 BR, 7/107 WR, 6/105 YR, 101/102 IMF and 101/102 RE. S Elba 1004 - Grand dam of Lot 213 and 214.
Another Duke x Elba combination and a ¾ sister to Lot 213, this time with her dam being sired by True North. A strong performing female, this quiet, mild mannered heifer offers elite calving ease and a scrotal EPD in the top 10% of the breed. Her dam is a gentle, moderate framed, easy keeping female who has the same rib shape and design we’ve come to rely on from donor Elba 1004.
