The natural calf from donor dam Pine Coulee Ever Entense D22 and a powerhouse of a yearling heifer. Sired by Armstong, she is one of the biggest framed, largest outlined, most extended daughters of him in our sale offering. This good heifer calf earned 100 ratios across the board as she was living at a donor center alongside her dam and was weaned 45 days later than the rest of her contemporaries. Had she been in the group, her weights and ultrasound measures would have propelled her into the elite leader status of this calf crop. Also, it was realized upon making the catalog that her DNA was not submitted with her pen mates and she will have updated genomic enhanced EPDs available before the sale. Her donor dam was the $36,000 high selling female of a past Pine Coulee production sale and is one of the most powerful females on our ranch. Massive in her design, she passes on extra stoutness, muscle and bone to her progeny. This April born heifer is a herd builder and is derived from one of the most potent genetic combinations in our sale offering.

We thought long and hard about if we should actually offer a New North daughter. This being his first calf crop and our supply of his progeny limited, we really didn’t know if we should part with one. On wanting to keep our heifer offering to truly showcase our herds “elites”, we decided if we were going to part with one she’d better be good. Well, here she is. Lot 216 is one of the stoutest made, biggest chested females, with a tremendous amount of outward rib shape and muscle dimension while still being long necked and attractive. A star across all measures, she scanned over a 12-inch ribeye to ratio 110 as well as ratioing 102 for marbling. Offering about as much combination marbling and ribeye EPD as any female in the sale, the +99 $M and +313 $C female is backed by a proven, mature dam that only extends her usefulness. Sired by Benfield Reality and then tracing back to “VRD 7078” the maternal side of this New North daughter is aged and proven well. Her dam records a progeny record of 8/108 WR, 7/105 YR, 7/115 IMF and 7/101 REA and is working again in our herd as a 10-year-old. This is a special heifer, with the genetics and conformation to go out and raise the next herd bull or donor female.
