female with extra length and extension. Weaning heavy, she performed well to a year and lived out her pedigree expectations scanning with a 121 ratio for marbling and a 12.5-inch ribeye to ratio 112 for muscle. We have calved our first Reliable females this spring and with what we’ve experienced we can’t get enough of them quick enough. They are good sized heifers, with lots of rib and mass, while consistently being small teated and tidy in their udder attachment. I’d be sure to give this heifer a serious look – she’s double bred to Blossom 0278, while offering the added advantage of extra carcass genetics.

earning weaning and yearling ratios of 113 and 111. A standout under the ultrasound probe, she earned a marbling ratio of 123 and a ribeye ratio of 103. Beyond all her measured accomplishments she is a pretty darn good heifer. Deep chested and soft made, she balances length and muscle very well. Her dam was bred in the good Bar-H herd in SK and has been here since she calved the first time. A favorite around here, she is a quiet Summit granddaughter who always is in good condition and brings in a good calf every year. Our Heritage daughters are first class, and the maternal side of Lot 220’s pedigree ensures that she will live up to expectations.

Lot 221
with a great structure, she is always set up and looking good, easily carrying her added muscle and mass around the pen. A 107 weaning ratio female, she kept right on growing to yearling time earning a 113 ratio for that trait. An outlier on carcass ultrasound day, she ratioed high for both marbling and ribeye earning a 134 IMF ratio and scanning one of our largest ribeyes with a 13.8 to ratio 123. On top of all her measured accolades, she offers a high level of carcass and growth merit genetically, and over 300 $C. Her dam is a good sized Bravo daughter, with a kind attitude, lots of milk and a great look phenotypically. This one needs to be looked at May 4th – she’s one of the real good heifers in the whole offering.
