SALE LOCATION: Harris Barn 2292 Louisiana Rd, Ottawa, KS 66067 INSPECTION: Cattle may be inspected any time before the sale (we encourage it). TRUCKING: Free delivery up to 500 miles. We will help with delivery greater than 500 miles and will use either: Nate Schuster – Six Diamond Cattle Company Jeff Madison – Madison Cattle and Trucking YARDAGE: If you choose, we will continue to keep and feed bulls free of charge until Sunday, May 31st. HEALTH: Interstate health papers are furnished on all bulls selling. All bulls have been tested and are PI- BVD Free, and free of any potential genetic defect. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Cattle will sell under the suggested terms and conditions of the American Angus Association. If a problem occurs, we will give you a suitable replacement or you will receive full repayment minus the salvage value of the original animal. PERFORMANCE INFORMATION: EPDs are all current as of February 15th, 2026. Updated EPDs can be viewed at www.angus.org. EPDs contained in the hard copy of this sale book were current as of print date. Digital versions of this sale book can be viewed online at www.angus.org and will have EPDs updated every Friday with the exception of EPD references in footnotes and photos. FIRST BREEDING SEASON GUARANTEE: We offer a full breeding season guarantee for any injury that would keep the bull from being a breeder for the first breeding season. If a problem occurs, we will give you a suitable replacement or you will receive full repayment minus the salvage value of the original bull. FERTILITY: All bulls will have passed a breeding soundness exam and fertility test by Dr. Larry Mages. Scrotal measurements will be available on sale day. What does that mean? 1) Selecting heifer bulls: GE-EPDs for calving ease direct and birth weight have accuracies roughly equivalent to bulls with 28 and 21 progeny, respectively. 2) Selecting growth/carcass bulls: GE-EPDs for growth, feed efficiency and carcass merit have accuracies roughly equivalent to bulls with 23, 8, and 10 progeny, respectively. 3) Selecting all-purpose bulls: GE-EPDs for applicable traits have accuracies roughly equivalent to bulls with 15 progeny or 15 head worth of carcass data.
