We were fortunate to acquire Red U-2 Syringa 71A in Niobrara’s Redefined Sale in the fall of 2023. She was one of the most exciting, proven, and visually impressive females to sell in the Red Angus breed that year. Syringa 71A takes femininity, udder quality, productivity, and overall style to another level. While at U-2, she raised the lead-off Reverence son that sold for $35,000 and has consistently produced high-quality progeny in the Niobrara program. With 36 registered calves to her name – and more yet to come – her production record speaks for itself. At 13 years of age, she still sports an exceptional, correct udder, stands on sound feet, and moves with ease. This summer we were able to successfully collect a strong set of embryos from her, and we’re extremely excited about her future at A&R Red Angus. This year’s offering in- cludes two powerful sons out of 71A, big-boned, good-footed, and backed by a proven cow family. We are also offering one daughter, 528N – a decision that may require a head check – but we wanted to bring something truly special to the sale. She mirrors her dam in type and quality, and we believe she has a very bright future ahead.
