It is our pleasure here at JLK Family Simmental Ranch to welcome you to our 26th annual bull sale. We strive to raise cattle with both the commercial cattleman and the seed stock producer in mind. For us, that means incorporating calving ease and performance-oriented genetics to add pounds to your calf crop, while also selecting for disposition and maternal traits at every turn. It is our goal to raise and sell cattle that keep your offspring functional and PROFITABLE. New this year, we are offering 10 high quality, registered, open females from the heart of our replacement pen. Both the bulls and heifers will be sold at the ranch on a private treaty phone auction. Initial bids will be due at 3:00pm on Friday, March 13th, 2026. After that time, we will begin the phone bid-off auction on lots that have received multiple bids. If you get outbid on one bull or heifer, you can roll onto another lot if you wish. All lots will have a base price which will increase by $250 increments with each bid. We feel this sale format gives you the flexibility to come view the livestock anytime before 3:00pm on March 13th, 2026. It’s a busy time of year for everyone, and we hope this gives you more time to come evaluate the cattle in person. Feel free to call us with any questions about the sale format or to talk cattle. We will keep all livestock for free after the sale until April 15th. After that, livestock will be kept at a rate of $3.00/head/day. They will have the best care, but we are not responsible for death or injury of livestock after the sale. As always, we appreciate all our past customers for their support in our program, and encourage new buyers to take interest in our cattle!
