17 F1 Black Baldy Commercial Replacement Heifers Luke and Jacy Peterson will be offering a group of 17 open F1 baldie heifers that are heavily influenced by the Bruner Angus program. These March- April born heifers have been pail fed and handled daily since weaning the beginning of November and have a calm easy-going demeanor. The Peterson’s focus on moderate sized cattle that have the feet, udder, and temperament to perform well on any operation. These open heifers have been dewormed, poured with cleanup, bangs vaccinated, first round of pre- breeding shots, and had their pelvis and reproductive tract checked.

16 F1 Black Baldy Commercial Bred Heifers New this year Luke and Jacy Peterson will also be offering a group of 16 home raised bred F1 baldie heifers that are heavily influenced by the Bruner Angus program. They are bred to Bar Trust Fund 3291 and BAR Circuit Breaker 1202 with ultra- sound due dates from March 28 - April 18th. They have calm and easy-going demeanor as they have been pail fed and han- dled daily over the winter as calves and again as bred heifers. The Peterson’s focus on moderate sized cattle that have the feet, udder, and temperament to perform well on any operation. These bred heifers have had all the vaccines as recommended by the Sheridan Animal Hospital and recently received both rounds of scour vaccines, dewormer, and cleanup pour-on.

Mike and Jim Rott for the 3rd year have a select group of 10 commercial Angus bred heifers to sell. These heifers have been a crowd favorite in years past, and have every ingredient to do so again this year. Rott’s have always invested and purchased some of the very best bulls from Bruner Angus, and these heifers are a true testament to that commitment. The sires of these heifers include BAR Be- lieve, BAR Appearance, BAR Success, and BAR No Doubt. They are bred to BAR Revelation 2068 the $8,500 lot 3 bull from the 2023 sale, who was a phenotypic standout in the entire offering. The calves born from him are long, smooth, and come easy. Their vaccinations are up-to-date including 7-way Vision, Vira-shield 6 +VL5, and poured with Clean-Up. They were ultra sounded and will calve April 23-May 30. These heifers will weigh 1200-1250 lbs.
