The Midland Metro Alliance led the UK’s first Light Rail Construction Trailblazer Apprenticeship - establishing a nationally recognised route into tramway construction and renewals. The programme tackles industry skills shortages while opening accessible pathways into employment. Apprenticeships are delivered across engineering, digital and business disciplines - building a future-ready workforce.
Inspiring and Supporting Talent Working with schools, colleges and regional partners, the Alliance delivers structured engagement, work experience and careers initiatives that connect education with real infrastructure delivery.
