Alan Merritt Please join me in congratulating Alan Merritt on his new role as Regional Director of Field Operations - DFW Region. Alan has been with BV for a total of almost 18 years and has served as DFW NE Area Manager for the previous 8 years. Prior to that role, Alan served as a field inspector for the DFW North and East regions and also worked on special projects for the Military division. Alan holds numerous ICC certifications including Residential and Commercial Combination inspector and maintains a State of Texas Plumbing License. Alan’s primary role will be oversight of the current DFW/West Texas Area Managers and field staff as well as working with me on many other duties in the DFW region. Alan began his new role on August 4th and will continue to report to Ty Chapman.
Armil Allahyarian We are pleased to announce the promotion of Armil Allahyarian to Regional Operations Manager for Southern California. This position maintains operational support for the Irvine and Pasadena Business Units while expanding to assume operational leadership for the San Diego Office. Working closely with Moe Heivand, the role focuses on driving operational excellence in the San Diego market and contributing to organizational growth objectives through strategic coordination and process optimization.
Joe Medina We are pleased to announce that Joe Medina has been promoted to the position of Plan Review Supervisor. The role encompasses coordinating Plan Review Assignments for Pasadena and Irvine projects, conducting client performance review meetings, and managing the resolution of Plan Review comments to ensure quality and efficiency throughout the project review process. These responsibilities directly support the Leap 28’ strategic initiatives, specifically advancing Driving Operational Excellence and Organizational Agility, Delivering Strong Customer Care through enhanced Customer Relations, and Supporting Strategic Growth Objectives via Strategic Execution. This integrated approach ensures that operational processes align with organizational priorities while maintaining the highest standards of client service and project quality. Michael Collier We are pleased to announce that Michael Collier has been promoted to the position of Houston Area Manager. Michael joined Bureau Veritas in 2021 and brings with him extensive knowledge and a strong work ethic. Before joining Bureau Veritas Michael worked for 25+ years as a general contractor and for 20+ years in municipal government as both a Fire Marshal and Building Official. We are excited to have Michael lead our Houston team and flourish in his new role.
Luis Perez-Codina Luis joined BV from CAP Government and has moved into a Business Development Manager role within the Florida Business Unit. Known for his integrity, humility, and deep industry experience, Luis plays a key role in expanding relationships with local jurisdictions and private-sector clients. His transition into BD has been seamless and highly impactful. Congratulations, Luis, on this well-earned next step!
Monique Casanova Monique joined BV through CAP Government and has successfully transitioned into the Florida Business Unitas a Business Development Manager. She brings extensive municipal knowledge, strong client rapport, and a solid understanding of Florida’s procurement landscape. Monique is already making a meaningful impact in strengthening our presence throughout Florida. We’re excited to see her continue to excel!
