Sale will be broadcast live on www.dvauction.com AUCTIONEER Terry Reagan 210-414-4411 SALES STAFF Representatives from the Gulf Coast Cattleman , Weekly Livestock Reporter , Southern Livestock Standard and American Simmental Association will be at the sale. EPDS EPDs current August 22, 2025. GLOSSARY All-Purpose Index (API): Evaluates sires for use on the entire cow herd (bred to both Angus first–calf heifers and mature cows) with the portion of their daughters required to maintain herd size retained and the remaining heifers and steers put on feed and sold grade and yield. Terminal Index (TI): Evaluates sire for use on mature Angus cows with all offspring put on feed and sold grade and yield. Using API and TI: First, determine which index to use; if you’re keeping replacements use API, if not, TI. Then just as with EPDs zero in on the unit difference between the bulls. The difference can be used to determine how much a bull is worth compared to another. Or, put another way, how much you can pay for one bull compared to another. For example, when buying an all-purpose-type sire, you can quickly figure a bull scoring +100 for API is worth an extra $6,000 over a +50 bull if both are exposed to 30 cows over 4 years ($50 diff. x 30 hd. X 4 yr.=$6,000). A percentile-ranking chart is required to determine where a bull’s index value ranks him relative to other bulls in the breed. For percentile rankings or more detailed information about EPDs and $ indexes visit www.simmental.org. PARTNERSHIP LOTS In the case of bull partnership lots, the new partner will have first choice to decide what 60 days they will be able to breed the bull. All decisions relating to the possession, showing, promotion, collecting of semen, and marketing will be mutually agreed upon prior to the transaction with both parties dividing all future expenses and net revenue. Female partnership lots will be owned 50/50 with all future production being co- owned. The partner with possession will receive $375 per year for maintenance from the other partner. A partner that is selling their interest must give the other partner the right to match any bona fide guaranteed offer prior to selling their interest to a third party. Contract on these lots will be available on sale day. SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS All cattle sell under the ASA terms and conditions. Copies will be available on sale day. CATTLE TRANSPORTATION Professional haulers will be on hand to assist you with the delivery of your cattle. We will assist you in making the most economical trucking arrangements. HEALTH All sale cattle of age will be brucellosis and tuberculosis tested and will have the necessary health papers to travel to other states. Any export health papers will be provided at the seller’s expense.
SEMEN OFFER ON FEMALES Buyers will receive two units of semen with each female purchased from any of the bulls owned and collected by that particular consigning Synergy member of that lot. HENSGENS BROTHERS CATTLE Our entire family is once again proud to be a part of the Synergy Sale and Showcase. We appreciate Tim and everyone that plays a part in this great event as it takes a lot of time and effort to pull off. The Simbrah breed can grow especially in the commercial sector. We all must work together to convey the truth of how these

cattle will work in the real-world environment. An older mentor told me when I was young, “It cost more to change your environment than to adapt.” This is the reason we have Simbrah and utilize all Sim-genetics. They thrive in so many different environments across the world to produce quality beef. It is great time to be in the cattle industry with markets hitting all-time highs both for our commercial and seedstock producers. We are in South Central Louisiana and welcome everyone to visit to see some great Simbrah and Brahman cattle!
Simmental donor out of Copacetic. While some of these represent purchases to make our herd stronger, we are excited to see three more of the young cattle that we have developed in our herd become donors. We have eight lots in the sale this year, our largest offering to date. We have three breeding prospects sired by Smith Adventurer 814F and one sired by Smith TMP Cast No Doubt. All have been exposed to Smith Can‘t Stop Being Good. Breeding status will be updated at sale time. We also have four show prospects, two sired by Cast No Doubt and two sired by Smith Isgrig Something in Red, one of Smith Genetics’ popular young bulls. These last two are paternal sisters to the heifer that Jacob may be leading to the majors this year and are two very easy-going heifers. You can read more about each of these calves in our sale lot notes. One thing to note on all our cattle in the sale, including our show heifers, is they are all in the top 20% for calving ease. Additionally, all our sale cattle have had tissue samples drawn and submitted for DNA verification. We also have a show heifer prospect from our The Next Bella donor that is offered with Smith Genetics in the Bella Bella cow family section. She is a full sister to Bubbles, the heifer that Grant and Gavin Hinckley showed successfully for a couple of years. All our show heifers come with the benefits of our junior program--support at every major stock show, guidance for feeding and showmanship, answers to any questions from our junior showmen and their parents and access to any of our bulls for breeding. We welcome scramble certificates, too! Ask us about the services we can provide. Give us a call to visit or check us out on Facebook at @TMP Livestock Company.
FRALISE FARM AND RANCH, LLC/TRIPLE J RANCH At Fralise Farm and Ranch, we are dedicated to raising cattle that are gentle, hardy, and structurally sound, capable of thriving on our forage-based, intensive rotational grazing program. Our goal is to produce cattle that
perform well in the show ring and excel as breeding adults on pasture. We’ve developed a comprehensive heifer development program focused on replacement females and continue to enhance our herd by introducing superior Simbrah genetics. With the power of proven sires and cow families, we’re capitalizing on the best Simbrah has to offer. Special thanks to Tim Smith for his guidance and for inviting us to participate in Synergy.
STRACK FARMS We have been breeding Simbrah cattle for 42 years. Over the years we have seen different fads come and go, but the breed is the best it has ever been. With the cattle markets as strong as they are and the improved weather conditions Simbrah has a very bright future. Our ranches are in Leon County about one hour northeast of College Station. Strack Farms always carries about 125 mother cows along with young heifers and bulls for sale.
NIESCHWIETZ 7N RANCH We warmly welcome everyone to Synergy XVIII and extend our deep gratitude to Tim for his unwavering support. We’d also like to thank the juniors, parents, 4-H and FFA advisors, fellow breeders, and everyone who contributes to the success of this event.
We provide seedstock for local customers, as well as selling to Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil. Over the years we have seen several of our cattle excel in the show ring for junior customers. We have been actively involved in the TSSA, as well as area associations within the state. This is the 7th Synergy that we have been involved with, and we are glad to support this effort.
Without your involvement, Synergy wouldn’t be the success it is today. We are constantly working to enhance our cowherd by integrating superior genetics and proven cow families. Our bull battery has been refreshed with new names like Pay It Forward, Royal, Zuko and Harry, alongside our trusted sires like Accelerator, Frosty, Patron, Potential and Powerman. We’ve made some adjustments in our percentages, incorporating more Brahman genetics and then using new Simmental genetics to return to purebred Simbrah. These cattle are performing exceptionally well in the warmer, drier conditions we’ve been experiencing. We invite you to evaluate our cattle and share your thoughts. We hope you enjoy Synergy XVIII, and please join us in praying for timely rains and safety.
BURCH CATTLE Welcome to Burch Cattle, where our Simbrah cattle continue to thrive in the Oklahoma climate, even during winter. As we grow our herd, the quality of our cattle improves, thanks to our exceptional sires, Smith Born to Dare and Smith Intrigue. This year, we’re especially proud of our best-ever calf crop. We’ve also ventured into selling meat through private treaty, and the response to Simbrah beef has been
overwhelmingly positive. We are excited about the future of our program and look forward to what’s to come, both with Synergy and the future of the Simbrah breed.
MONTE CHRISTO CATTLE CO. Mike and I just returned from the annual Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course in College Station. A huge crowd was treated to lots of good informative presentations and demonstrations. One comment I heard more than once sounded something like “I just wish my father had lived to see these cattle prices!” So, it’s a great moment to be a cowboy.
REAVIS FARMS As we enter our 38th year as Simbrah breeders, we are as enthusiastic as ever about the limitless potential of the breed. Over the past year, we’ve introduced new genetics into our program, using top Simmental sires to enhance our EPDs and carcass traits. Our bulls continue to excel in the Rio Grande Valley Beef Improvement Gain Test and we’ve sold
more bulls this year than ever before. As our herd continues to grow, our focus remains on producing cattle that thrive in diverse environments, from rugged range conditions to the show ring. In addition to our cattle operation, we run a diversified family farm growing grain, corn, cotton, sunflowers, and watermelons, with a particular emphasis on producing sweet 1015 onions. We invite you to visit our farm and see our cattle—we believe they would be valuable additions to your program. A special thank you to Tim Smith for his long-standing dedication to the Simbrah breed. We look forward to seeing everyone at Synergy XVIII.
We recently finished weaning the last of our late fall calves and performing pregnancy checks to make room in the herd for our replacements. We had to cull some good looking bred 13 and 14-year-old cows, and most of them brought more money than we paid for them a long time ago. So, the summer has gone well, notwithstanding the heat for the last month. We’ve had timely scattered showers from mid-April through Independence Day. So, even though we’ve spent a fortune on “contract water”, we haven’t had to use much of it until the last 45 days, while Mexico is still holding out on repayment of the water debt. Secretary Rollins has done a good job of pressuring our neighbor to meet their obligations and the Water Master has promised some new allocations this month. So far, the irrigation is still better than last summer. We’re currently backgrounding a great set of replacement heifers featuring new genetics from the Brahman side of the industry, as well as three new Fleckvieh sires on the Simmental side, which will be breeding following our fall calving season. As a general practice, we’ve been breeding our heifers lately at 18 to 22 months and those calves are hitting the ground now with no issues and the mothers look like mature full-grown cows. This year we have kept a nice group of herd bull prospects from six Legacy Bulls with solid proven performance sires. So, we can offer yearling heifers, mature, heavy bred heifers and yearling bulls in good numbers. The Synergy Sale always conflicts with another important annual citrus event precluding our participation in the sale this year, but we will continue to support this great event. Good luck to us all!
MCCRARY FARMS This year marks our 29th year as Simbrah and Simmental breeders, and we’re thrilled about the high-quality cattle we’re bringing to Synergy XVIII. Mark and I are continuously refining our herd by leveraging the best sire power these breeds have to offer. If you take a closer look at our herd’s pedigrees, you’ll see
the influence of many of the breed’s greats. We are strong supporters of Simbrah youth development programs and actively sponsor numerous FFA and 4-H events. Located in the northeast corner of Texas, just south of DeKalb and near the Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana borders, we invite you to visit our farm anytime. We are proud members of the Synergy group and extend our heartfelt thanks to Tim Smith and the Smith Genetics Team for making Synergy the event of the year!
SMITH GENETICS As we celebrate 18 years of Synergy, Smith Genetics remains steadfast in our commitment to excellence. This event continues to grow and thrive, thanks to the elite genetics and proven cow families that form the foundation of our program. We are proud to host this annual gathering and look forward with excitement to the future of the Simbrah breed. A major milestone was reached at the 2025 Houston Livestock Show, where Smith Genetics cattle captured both the Grand and Reserve Champion Female titles in the open and junior divisions. Our program also bred the ARB Champion Female in the junior show and claimed the Grand Champion Bull title, while sweeping all group classes in the open show—the breed’s International Show. This marks the first time in Simbrah history that a Simbrah seedstock program has swept both female divisions.
The International Grand Champion Female was exhibited by Kannon Hill of East Bernard, Texas, with Smith Fabled Farmers Daughter, a standout from the Pop Star Cow Family. She was first named Calf Champion before going on to the overall Grand title. Hill also exhibited the Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Female, Smith Juliet Homecoming Queen, from the Juliet Cow Family. Both champions were sired by Smith Follow My Lead. The International Grand Champion Bull title went to TMP Smith Big Easy 614L, sired by Smith Follow My Lead and out of the She Moves Cow Family. He was named Junior Champion before taking top honors and is owned by Smith Genetics and TMP Livestock of Henderson, Texas. Adding to the success, Smith 4S Kayla Charming Emmylu was named “Miss North America” during the International Show. She is sired by Smith No Better Than This and out of Smith Charming N Lively, and is co-owned with the Sansom family of 4S Simbrah, Brenham, Texas. The Houston Junior Show, held the following week, continued the winning streak. Smith Genetics bred the Champion ARB Female as well as both the Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Simbrah Females. Once again, Kannon Hill led the way with Smith Fabled Farmers Daughter, while Jacob Merritt earned Reserve Grand with his Smith Rite On Time daughter from the Juliet Cow Family. Both were winners from the calf division. Kaden Pilat claimed the ARB title with a CMFM Caught Lookin D929 daughter out of Smith Diva’s Dancing Queen 20F, continuing the legacy of the Diva Cow Family. At Smith Genetics, we remain committed to progressive breeding practices, incorporating genomic data alongside visual evaluation to make informed decisions. Beyond the show ring, our dedication to youth development continues through the Smith Genetics Cow Camp, which has become a cornerstone opportunity for junior and new breeders. Our operations span both Texas and Kentucky, including an expanding registered horse division in Kentucky. We are also growing our Simmental numbers at our Giddings location. This year’s Synergy sale lineup features genetics from some of our most influential cow families, including Bella Bella, Diva, She Moves, Pure Diamond, and 770P-R770, among others. Sires highlighted include Smith Steppin’ Up Your Game, Smith Follow My Lead, Smith Like Never Before 328G, and Something In Red (SIR), alongside proven leaders such as Satisfies, Practical 42D, Smith Have No Fear, Smith Made Solid, Lubbock, and Crockett. We are deeply grateful for your continued support and proud to once again host Synergy. We are confident that our cattle—and our program—rank among the very best in the industry.

The momentum continued in the Junior Show, where we bred not only the Simbrah Grand Champion but also the ARB Champion—an achievement never before accomplished with Simbrah genetics. The International and Junior Show Grand Champion was Smith Fabled Farmers Daughter, exhibited by Kannon Hill, while the ARB Champion title went to Smith Dancing Diva Georgia Gal, exhibited by Kaden Pilat. Pop Star Cow Family
INTRODUCING THE DEBUT OF OUR NEW COW FAMILY, SMITH POP STAR 840F Smith Pop Star 840F, a powerful daughter of Smith Detonator, is the kind that’s always turned heads as she is an easy-keeping, heavy-milking female, who’s earned her place in the front pasture from day one. But it was when she produced a heifer that may just surpass her that she truly cemented her legacy. With a beautiful udder, strong fertility and performance to match, Pop Star 840F has earned her way to the donor lineup. Her influence is already being felt, her standout daughter, 048M, was the most talked-about and sought-after heifer on the 2024–2025 show circuit. SMITH DIVA’S DANCING QUEEN- DIVA DAUGHTER
CURTAIN CALL, PLEASE... The DIVA’S are back – and they never left the spotlight. The legendary Diva cow family has been setting the standard for years, and now it’s Smith Diva’s Dancing Queen stepping into the lead role. She’s not just carrying the torch—she’s raising the bar. As the dam of champions like Smith Diva Take Me 2 The Dance and now the 2025 ARB Houston Grand Champion Female, Smith Dancing Diva Georgia Gal (led by the talented Kaden Pilat), she’s proving this family’s legacy is only getting stronger. Rooted in greatness, this cow family traces back to icons like LMC WFC Dream Girl, Smith Just A Diva, and Smith Diva’s Sound of Silence, all names that built the brand. And they’re not just behind top females—they’re the driving force behind breed-leading sires like Smith Have No Fear, Smith One and Only, and Smith Just Because. But don’t blink—because Smith Something In Red is the rising star. With a knockout lineup of females storming the sale pens and show rings this year, this next-gen sire is ready to write his own chapter in Diva history. This is more than a cow family.
