HENSGENS BROTHERS CATTLE Our entire family is once again proud to be a part of the Synergy Sale and Showcase. We appreciate Tim and everyone that plays a part in this great event as it takes a lot of time and effort to pull off. The Simbrah breed can grow especially in the commercial sector. We all must work together to convey the truth of how these
Henderson, where we raise quality Simbrah cattle and a few quality Simmentals. We are continuing to expand our foundation donor pen, adding Smith TMP Precious Jewel 109J, a Hidden Jewel daughter; Smith TMP Made Priceless 373L and Smith TMP Priceless Freedom, both daughters of Smith Priceless Gem 377A; Smith Just Imagine 549L and Smith Diva Friendly Face 220L, both successful show heifers fresh from Jacob’s show string; and Smith Magic Missy 1305K, a
cattle will work in the real-world environment. An older mentor told me when I was young, “It cost more to change your environment than to adapt.” This is the reason we have Simbrah and utilize all Sim-genetics. They thrive in so many different environments across the world to produce quality beef. It is great time to be in the cattle industry with markets hitting all-time highs both for our commercial and seedstock producers. We are in South Central Louisiana and welcome everyone to visit to see some great Simbrah and Brahman cattle!
Simmental donor out of Copacetic. While some of these represent purchases to make our herd stronger, we are excited to see three more of the young cattle that we have developed in our herd become donors. We have eight lots in the sale this year, our largest offering to date. We have three breeding prospects sired by Smith Adventurer 814F and one sired by Smith TMP Cast No Doubt. All have been exposed to Smith Can‘t Stop Being Good. Breeding status will be updated at sale time. We also have four show prospects, two sired by Cast No Doubt and two sired by Smith Isgrig Something in Red, one of Smith Genetics’ popular young bulls. These last two are paternal sisters to the heifer that Jacob may be leading to the majors this year and are two very easy-going heifers. You can read more about each of these calves in our sale lot notes. One thing to note on all our cattle in the sale, including our show heifers, is they are all in the top 20% for calving ease. Additionally, all our sale cattle have had tissue samples drawn and submitted for DNA verification. We also have a show heifer prospect from our The Next Bella donor that is offered with Smith Genetics in the Bella Bella cow family section. She is a full sister to Bubbles, the heifer that Grant and Gavin Hinckley showed successfully for a couple of years. All our show heifers come with the benefits of our junior program--support at every major stock show, guidance for feeding and showmanship, answers to any questions from our junior showmen and their parents and access to any of our bulls for breeding. We welcome scramble certificates, too! Ask us about the services we can provide. Give us a call to visit or check us out on Facebook at @TMP Livestock Company.
FRALISE FARM AND RANCH, LLC/TRIPLE J RANCH At Fralise Farm and Ranch, we are dedicated to raising cattle that are gentle, hardy, and structurally sound, capable of thriving on our forage-based, intensive rotational grazing program. Our goal is to produce cattle that
perform well in the show ring and excel as breeding adults on pasture. We’ve developed a comprehensive heifer development program focused on replacement females and continue to enhance our herd by introducing superior Simbrah genetics. With the power of proven sires and cow families, we’re capitalizing on the best Simbrah has to offer. Special thanks to Tim Smith for his guidance and for inviting us to participate in Synergy.
STRACK FARMS We have been breeding Simbrah cattle for 42 years. Over the years we have seen different fads come and go, but the breed is the best it has ever been. With the cattle markets as strong as they are and the improved weather conditions Simbrah has a very bright future. Our ranches are in Leon County about one hour northeast of College Station. Strack Farms always carries about 125 mother cows along with young heifers and bulls for sale.
NIESCHWIETZ 7N RANCH We warmly welcome everyone to Synergy XVIII and extend our deep gratitude to Tim for his unwavering support. We’d also like to thank the juniors, parents, 4-H and FFA advisors, fellow breeders, and everyone who contributes to the success of this event.
We provide seedstock for local customers, as well as selling to Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil. Over the years we have seen several of our cattle excel in the show ring for junior customers. We have been actively involved in the TSSA, as well as area associations within the state. This is the 7th Synergy that we have been involved with, and we are glad to support this effort.
Without your involvement, Synergy wouldn’t be the success it is today. We are constantly working to enhance our cowherd by integrating superior genetics and proven cow families. Our bull battery has been refreshed with new names like Pay It Forward, Royal, Zuko and Harry, alongside our trusted sires like Accelerator, Frosty, Patron, Potential and Powerman. We’ve made some adjustments in our percentages, incorporating more Brahman genetics and then using new Simmental genetics to return to purebred Simbrah. These cattle are performing exceptionally well in the warmer, drier conditions we’ve been experiencing. We invite you to evaluate our cattle and share your thoughts. We hope you enjoy Synergy XVIII, and please join us in praying for timely rains and safety.
BURCH CATTLE Welcome to Burch Cattle, where our Simbrah cattle continue to thrive in the Oklahoma climate, even during winter. As we grow our herd, the quality of our cattle improves, thanks to our exceptional sires, Smith Born to Dare and Smith Intrigue. This year, we’re especially proud of our best-ever calf crop. We’ve also ventured into selling meat through private treaty, and the response to Simbrah beef has been
overwhelmingly positive. We are excited about the future of our program and look forward to what’s to come, both with Synergy and the future of the Simbrah breed.
