Meet Dr. Maurice Hornocker, winner of the Aldo Leopold Award and one of the best known researchers of mountain lions in Idaho's back country, as he and co-author, David Johnson, discuss their book Cougar's on the Cliff: One Man's Pioneering Quest to Understand the Mythical Mountain Lion , Saturday, February 22 at 1 PM in the Library Event Space. The authors will share about Maurice and Wilber Wiles adventures in the back country, capturing cougar and the impact the study has had on mountain lion management.
