Children & Teen Events Wiggles & Giggles Story Time Reading, singing and dancing, that's what we'll be doing at our sensory friendly Wednesday 11 AM story times in the Library Event Space, January 8 to February 26. Intended for ages 0 - 6 and their caregivers. Saturday Stay & Play Enjoy open ended play with your family from 11 AM to Noon on Saturdays, January 18 and February 22 in the Library Event Space. Special guest, author Laurel Gale, will be joining us in January to read her new book Robots Don't Make You Go to Bed. Intended for ages 3 - 7. Players of all levels are welcome to join us for Saturday Strategic Moves Chess Club. Bring a friend to join the fun on Saturdays, January 11 through February 22 from 2 to 4 PM in the Library Event Space. For ages 8 through 18, although children 9 and under must be accompanied by someone 15 years or older. Saturday Strategic Moves Chess Club Tech Time with Librarian Darin It's time to learn about electronics! Bring your questions and be ready for fun on Friday, January 17 from 2 to 3 PM in the Makery. Intended for teens 12 to 17 and registration is suggested at lewistonlibrary.org. Schooling from Home Book Study: Code Name Kingfisher Travel back to WWII era Holland and follow sisters Mila and Hannie as they join the Dutch Resistance in this story of daring and bravery. We'll be meeting Thursdays, February 6 through 20 from 1 to 2 PM in the First Floor Meeting Room. Intended for children 10 to 12 years of age who are schooling from home and registration is required. Cricut Basics & Mug Making Class Tournament Tuesdays Join us for some January fun as we return to the world of Smash Brothers! Anyone over 8 years old is welcome to join our tournament each Tuesday, January 7 through 28, from 4 to 5:30 PM in the Library Event Space. There will also be board games, coloring activities, snacks and of course, gaming! All AgesEvents Genre Quest 2024 - 2025 Are you taking part in Noon Year's Eve Gaming Jamboree & Party

Learn the basics of the Cricut cutting machine and the process of creating a design, followed by making a mug using infusible ink and the Cricut press. We'll be in the Makery, Tuesday, January 21 from 4 to 6 PM. Registration is required and the class is intended for those 16+.

Celebrate the coming of 2025 with video games, snacks, party favors and fun! All ages are welcome to join us Tuesday, December 31 from Noon to 3 PM in the Event Space. Children 9 & under must be accompanied by someone over 15 years of age.
