Assuming a $60,000 salary in the city you’re moving from and that you’d own a house in in one of the cities, we used a salary/cost of living calculator to help us figure out the rest. For example, if you made $60,000 after taxes in Los Angeles, CA, you’d need to make just $41,526 in Phoenix and $41,287 in Tucson to maintain the same standard of l iving. Here are the results:
