DRIVER LICENSE, TITLE AND REGISTRATION As described in the customer service guide and driver license manual, Arizona issues an extended driver license that continues until age 65, although photo and vision screenings need to be updated every 12 years. At 60 years and over drivers will receive a 5-year license with a renewal date of every 5 years, also requiring vision and photo updating. Temporary residents such as out of state students or military personnel and family members may apply for a 5-year license regardless of age. The applicant must have valid proof of age and identity. Foreign applicants will be processed in accordance with Arizona authorized presence requirements. All Offices perform both driver license and title and registration services unless otherwise noted. The vehicle registration fee is based on the make, model and year of the vehicle. Some offices also perform commercial driver license services and Motorcycle skill testing. Consult the Customer Service Guide, available at all testing facilities to find the facility that meets your needs. For further inquiries, contact the Motor Vehicle Division of Arizona at 602-255- 0072 or consult their web site at www.azdot.gov.
