Wayne and his wife, Judy Kay Ferguson, have been long-time Red Angus breeders and enthusiasts. Wayne was recognized as the Red Angus Personality of theYear at the 2006 Convention in Kerrville,Texas. If you knew Wayne, you know that described him well. He had a great love for Red Angus cattle as well as the people he met through them. Wayne was an avid sportsman who loved hunting all kinds of game across North America.

Green Mountain Bow Antelope Hunt Donated by Green Mountain Red Angus Supports the General Fund Bid on a rare opportunity to bow hunt world-class pronghorn antelope in southwest Montana. Green Mountain Red Angus views land ownership as a privilege and manages its properties with a focus on the entire ecosystem. Wildlife herds are carefully managed through selective hunting to promote top-end genetics for horn and antler development.

This is primarily a closed property, and hunting access is seldom offered.Those fortunate enough to hunt here have described it as a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. For the 2025 RASF Auction, GMRA is opening their gates to offer an archery hunt for a trophy pronghorn. The hunt is non-guided, though pre-existing water hole blinds will be available for use.The 2026 Montana archery antelope season runs from Aug. 15 – Nov. 6, and the winning bidder will coordinate with GMRA to apply for licenses and schedule the most opportune time. Travel and lodging are not included.

Generous members donate their best cattle, enhancing breed genetics. 2. Annual Fundraising Auction – General Auction Following the Pick-of-the-Herd, bid on diverse donated items like artwork, ranch equipment and memorabilia in a live or online auction. Donations of items are encouraged.

4. Bequeathed Endowments Create a lasting legacy through large bequeathed endowments, continuing to impact the Red Angus breed. 5. Independent Donations Donations can be made anytime and allocated to the General, Junior Red Angu, or Research and Development Fund. In Honor Contributions Memorial contributions can be made throughout the year, or designate the Foundation as the recipient of memorial donations. 7.
