A fter a qu arter of a century of work on th is field, it is in teresting to make th e comparison.” Mrs. Helen Webendorfer, LaPaz, Bolivia, a recent student, w rites, “ If only you could see these Indians. We are ju st beginning to see the need first hand, but it sends us crying to our F a th e r for reapers for th is harvest. If only they will come before it is too la te.” A le tte r received from Miss W inifred W illiams on her way to Africa, stopping a t San Lucia Island, says “The people here did not have much to read and simply begged for trac ts when they saw one or two given out. A member of the p arty gave away 200 one evening. They were hungry for th e Gospel. We attended a meeting a t which a m ission­ ary spoke and th e people stood up in the. back and were listening a t 'ev ery window.” R uth E. Bergevin, Terozepere, India, w rites interestingly of the work in her field. She says, “ How could I help feel­ ing glad th a t I am here, when on every side th e need for w orkers is so press­ ing? It makes me w ant to be th ree or four people all a t once. In my most enlightened or visionary moments, I pever dreamed th a t the need of th e Gospel in people’s lives could be so great, so appealing. I shall be in evan­ gelistic work as soon as I can get the language.” Misses B etty and F lo ra Pierson, located in K ijabe, B ritish E ast Africa, tell of th e good work thqy are having, and add, “We believe th a t Jesus is com­ ing back soon, and we cannot afford to be ought b u t our best for H im .” The “blessed hope” is indeed th e mission­ ary ’s g reat incentive. Jack Lichtman, a form er student, located a t Bogoro, Congo, Africa, w rites

“ I never realized how powerful an ad­ versary Satan is and what a stronger ally I have in Jesu s Christ un til I came to Africa. Satan is very active in many ways here, bu t our God is a powerful God. A m issionary has to be a jack of all trades. At p resen t my work is laying brick.” Miss Jennie Gailey, who is stationed on th e Nile, says in a recent le tte r: “ It simply tears the h ea rt out of me when I see these people living on th is earth as we do and ju st as much hum an be­ ings, no t having so much as heard of salvation from a death th a t is su re to come. Surely, ‘th is is a people robbed and spoiled. Who among you will give ear to this? Who will hearken and h ear for tim e to come?’ ” Isa. 42:22, 23; R er. H arry J. H ill and his wife, formerly Miss Mary Ross, both In sti-‘ tu te people, and supported in Korea by the Bible In stitu te, w rite a very in te r­ esting le tte r telling of th e ir first itin ­ erating trip in which they visited many churches, dealt w ith many souls and d istributed much literatu re . They are connected w ith the P rinceton Memorial Bible School. Now ju st a few lines as to w hat folks are saying about The K ing’s Business: Leon V. Shaw, cashier of Pasadena National Bank, says: “To say th a t I was pleased w ith the new design of the magazine puts it mildly. Whoever de­ signed th e cover is to be cong ratu lated .” Delevan L. P ierson of the Missionary Review of th e World, w rites: “ I am all th e tim e clipping from The K ing’s Business and often make use of th e good m aterial in it. The cover is strik ­ ing and carries out the idea finely of a herald on th e K ing’s business.” Rev. Geo. A.
