Many generations ago, a great king sailed the southern seas with six dhonis, searching for a place of peace. For days, the fleet crossed endless waters under sun and stars. But one night, a fierce storm rose without warning. Waves tore through the ships. The sea swallowed some, while others drifted until dawn broke over a lonely island. The king and his men came ashore, tired but alive. Here, they found shelter. Fresh water bubbled from the ground. Fruit grew wild. Fish filled the Reefs. So they stayed. They built homes, raised children, and passed down the story of how life began on this quiet patch of land.
It is said this island was the first in the atoll to awaken.
