Entry requirements ■ Candidates must possess previous relevant work experience in the financial sector, central banking or financial regulation ■ Candidates must have an upper second class honours degree at undergraduate level from a UK university or the equivalent from an overseas university ■ Applications are also welcomed from candidates who do not have the academic qualifications but possess demonstrable experience of working in the financial sector, central banking or in financial regulation at a level sufficient with the requirements of the course ■ All of our programmes are delivered in English so, if English is not your first language, you have not graduated from an English speaking university or worked
Programme fees The MSc programme fee for October 2025, February 2026, or June 2026 entry is £32,520. This is payable over three years:
Scholarships We are delighted to announce a limited number of scholarships are available to students admitted onto the MSc Global Central Banking & Financial Regulation, beginning in either October 2025, February 2026, or June 2026. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship please indicate through the drop down box on your application form and complete the scholarship essay, and we will be pleased to consider you. Scholarships can be applied for right up until the final application deadline for your intake of choice, however WBS scholarships are highly competitive and applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early. Bursaries As part of the WBS and Bank of England collaboration to support technical co- operation and to create a constituency for good financial regulation and ethical finance, we are delighted to announce the availability of a number of 50% tuition fee bursary awards to qualifying candidates from central banks in emerging markets and developing countries. This is available for the October intake to the full MSc programme, or Postgraduate Diploma, Certificate or Award. Preparing a case for sponsorship with your employer Before you approach your employer, we recommend you spend some time considering the following points: ■ Is there a procedure for requesting ■ Can you demonstrate your skills to your employer with an up-to-date CV? ■ Have you solicited departmental or company-wide support? It helps if the proposal comes via appraisal, your line manager/director or a company mentor ■ Consider what expectations your sponsor might have and what benefits might be attractive to those who can influence the decision on your request for sponsorship ■ Prepare a range of short-term and long- term benefits linked to current business activity. The Postgraduate Award fee for October 2025, February 2026, or June 2026 entry is £4,065. Upon successful completion of one 20-credit module you will be awarded with a Postgraduate Award in that subject. Upon successful completion of three 20-credit modules you will be awarded with a Postgraduate Certificate. Upon successful completion of six 20-credit modules you will be awarded with a Postgraduate Diploma.
