The number of townhome listings in Richmond decreased to 287 in October, 9% below the previous month and a 32% decrease vs October 2019. The 92 townhome sales in October were 2% below September but 8% higher year-over-year. The townhome sales-to-listings ratio increased to 32%, as Richmond’s townhome market remained in seller’s market territory. The benchmark price for townhomes in October was $817,600, 1.5% above September and 6% higher than in October 2019. The average sold price was $850,798 (0.2% below September) with an average PSF sales price of $574 (2% below September).
