Registration for Play All members and their guests must register with the Pro Shop starters prior to using the golf course. Golf Instruction Instruction and golf lessons are offered under the supervision of the Club's Golf Professional and given by golf personnel only. No charges will be assessed if a scheduled lesson is canceled twenty-four (24) hours or more in advance. If a Member cancels a lesson less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled time of the lesson, or fails to appear for a scheduled lesson, the Member will be charged the lesson rate then in effect. Privately Owned Carts a) Privately owned carts may be used on the golf course at the Club only with the permission of Club Management and subject to such charges, rules and procedures as may be established. Club Management may limit the number of privately owned carts that it approves for use at the Club. Operators of privately owned golf carts must follow all rules prescribed for cart usage. In addition, cart owners must sign and agree to be bound by the conditions contained in the Private Cart Agreement. Private carts are restricted to a cap of 75 private carts only. b) The Private Cart Agreement is entered into on a year-to-year basis and Club Management reserves the right to discontinue usage of private carts at the Club on the anniversary date of the Agreement without any liability or obligation to the owner of any private cart. The fee payable by owners of private carts is established by Club Management and may be changed on an annual basis. c) The owner of a private golf cart must list Club Management as an additional insured under the owner's liability and property insurance policies, and upon request, shall provide a certificate of insurance. d) Before a Member may operate a private cart at the Club, the Member must obtain Club Management's approval of the make, model, year and color of the golf cart to be purchased. Private carts must be maintained to an acceptable level of appearance and operation. Club Management shall be the sole judge of a private cart's acceptability. Golf Course Etiquette & Divot/Ball Mark Repair a) Enter all sand traps from the lowest point. Smooth all footprints and marks as you leave using the rake provided. Please place the rake inside the trap when done. b) Repair any ball marks on the green. Repair the mark by using a divot repair tool. Insert the divot tool at the highest point of the divot; pull the top of the tool towards the middle of the divot. Continue the same action all around the divot and tap down with the putter. c) Replace any divots on the fairway with the sand supplied. Avoid taking divots with a practice swing. Article 8. Tennis Reservations If Club Management deems it in the best interest of the Club, it may reserve the use of any court for tournaments, exhibitions, special matches or any other appropriate purpose. Members do not have to make court reservations unless requested by the Club.
