Implementation This Strategic Plan is a dynamic, flexible document that will guide the actions and the decisions of the Fort Worth Police Department over the next five years. This tool will be evaluated and updated annually by gathering input from employees and community stakeholders. This plan does not cover everything that needs to be accomplished within the department, but instead places focus on areas deemed a priority by the Strategic Plan Advisory Committee and FWPD employees. In order for this plan to be successful, it requires full commitment, participation, and input from all members of the FWPD. Evaluation To ensure continuing progress and success in implementing the Strategic Plan, the plan will be evaluated on an annual basis by the Research and Planning Section. A progress report will be generated portraying the status of the goals and action items.
