Annexation Growth FWPD does not provide police service to areas designated as limited purpose annexation, but once the City converts areas to full purpose, must adjust to do so. There are 25 square miles that could be added to the FWPD service area by 2021 based on the City’s 5-year annexation plan for land currently designated as limited purposed. As pictured in the below map, most of the annexation areas are to the north, west, and south of the current city limits. Figure 3.21. Annexation Anticipated in five years
