Tony’s Open Chain Supply Chain Network: Tony’s Open Chain works with two types of core supply
-chain partners:
processing companies that transform beans into semi -finished cocoa products, and exporters that support traceability, responsible sourcing and exports. Our partners have a legal obligati on to apply the EUDR, since the regulation targets companies placing cocoa on the EU market. Together, we enable our mission of traceable deforestation free cocoa. 1.10. Deforestation Risk Analysis Partners : Tony’s Open Chain partners with independent expert organisations to carry out its deforestation risk analysis. Using satellite monitoring, geo-spatia l and land -use analysis, these third -party partners are responsible for establishing whether farms comply with Tony’s Open Chain requirements on deforestation or not .
