IRAQ There was a civil war years ago, which led to having to provide assistance to people trying to flee from their homes. There is a lack of input due to urban wars where civilians are continually attacked. Hundreds of children have seen their rights violated, sheltered in refugee camps far from their families . As a consequence of the war, the environment and its natural resources were affected. The pandemic has exacerbated the situation.
JORDAN
It is characterized as a country that shelters hundreds of Syrians, this causes economic conflicts in Jordan, since it needs resources to regularize the status of immigrants and provide adequate infrastructure.
YEMEN
It is the poorest country in the Arabian peninsula. It is going through a civil war as a result of the 2014 coup against its president. The war in Yemen left 10,000 children dead or with amputated limbs at the beginning of the conflict between Houthi rebels and a military coalition. War crimes, arbitrary detentions and enforced disappearances have occurred. Human rights activists have been harrassed.The difficulties have been exacerbated by weather conditions, a fuel crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic and plagues.
