The assistant manager at each plant will conduct tworandom visits per week at each workstation to review/measure the tasks below. Each task will have a point value to it:

The goal of this new program is continuing to make safety a priority throughout the year by making it an interactive program that is acknowledged quarterly instead of at year end. Employees will earn points for doing safety related tasks. For example: Cleaning your work area with no trips and fall hazards Tools in proper place Materials in the right location Unblocked emergency exits using proper guarding Completing lock out tag out Completing daily forklift checks

What is the incentive? - Once a certain number of points are accrued by the end of each quarter, employees can pick out a prize/gift with the points they have earned or carry over the points to the next quarter. The point system would start all over again for the next quarter. Examples of current prizes are on the following pages.
