An All American Selections Winner, Cayennetta is a compact branching cayenne type chili. It has a very neat, attractive habit and produces a large crop of bright red 4” (10 cm) tapered fruit underneath the attractive leaf canopy. The fruit are mild in heat, reaching around 20,000 shu. Cayennetta has tolerance to both very hot and cold seasons and fruits are resistant to sun scorch, making it a good all round performer in any garden.
